M&P is looking for an Office Manager/Human Resources/law bookkeeper to join our firm. The law firm offers a positive energetic environment and a competitive salary to the right candidate.
Job Description
All aspects of Human Resources – Office Management – Day to Day operation of the firm.
- Liaison with IT support- Supervise and co-ordinate the installation of all new software programs -Group Benefits administrator- Payroll(tracking sick days and vacation days) – Bank reconciliations – -year end reporting to accountants.
- Work closely with Managing Partner.
- Hire and Supervise Law clerks, Admin and Accounting staff. Resolve employee relations issues.
- Monthly reconciliation of G/L accounts.
- Firm purchases computers and furniture.
- Confidential Financial issues for firm.
- LSO year end reports, HST monthly payments . Miscellaneous duties as they occur. Oversee Marketing and website, Visa travel points. Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Legal Management experience.
- Knowledge of all aspects of Legal Accounting as per LSO.
- General principles of recruiting. staffing systems
- Experience in managing client databases and legal software
- Ability to multi task, prioritize while paying close attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally interact with all levels of staff/Lawyers and clientele.
- Excellent written and oral skills.
