As the Director of Human Resources for Aird & Berlis LLP, Georgia is responsible for leading and directing the planning and execution of the firm’s Human Resource function with respect to Staff positions. Georgia’s passion is people and she likes to see all individuals flourish in their respective roles while working in an environment which allows them to do so. Georgia and her team work to create programs and initiatives which support this and reinforce the firm’s professional, family, friendly culture while driving performance and service excellence.
Georgia has a degree in Psychology from Queen’s University, a Human Resources Certificate from Ryerson University, a certificate of Lean Six Sigma from The University of Toronto and is also a certified Executive and Life Coach. Georgia has served on the board of TLOMA from 2004-2007, including serving as President, she sat on the Board of the Georgian Bay Land Trust from 1999-2006 and she is currently a Trustee with the Psychology Foundation of Canada. Georgia is certified in both Mental Health First Aid as well as Mental Health Leadership in the Workplace.
