Karen joined Fogler, Rubinoff LLP in 1985 as the Administrative Assistant to the Office Manager, moving into the GM role in 1998. She has a degree in office administration and is a member of TLOMA, ALA, LMA and CBAO. Together with her valued team, Karen's primary responsibilities include overseeing all administrative departments of the firm. FR is a firm of more than 110 lawyers, supported by approximately 130 support staff. 

Karen has been an active member in TLOMA since 1996 currently completing her three year term on the Board.  Previously, Karen served on the Board as Secretary for two years in 2000/01 and 2001/02 which position is responsible for the association's monthly newsletter. In 2009 Karen chaired the Nominating Committee for the 2010 Board and was a member of the NC in 2010, 2013 and 2014. 

TLOMA is a professional association that relies on the contribution of its members for its success. With the membership's support, Karen is proud to serve on the 2015 TLOMA Board as Past President to assist the Board's mandate in providing excellence to its membership of professional development and networking, and raising profile of the association within and outside of the legal community. 

From June 2001 to fall 2012, Karen was a member of the Sheridan College Legal Program Advisory Committee and served as Chair from 2005-2010 and Co-Chair from 2010 to 2012. The PAC comprises members from a number of law firms and some in-house legal departments which seeks the input from the business environment to assist the college in ensuring the curriculum is relevant and current so that the skills and competencies of the graduates meet the requirements of employers. 

As a mother of two sons, in her precious spare time Karen spends weekends cottaging with family and friends, boating and skiing, and loves to travel as often as she and her hubbie can get away.
