Meyer Mechanic is the founder and CEO of Vaultie and a rising figure in the digital credentials and trust space. He is an Innovative Solutions Canada award winner and holds two patents in the digital identity space.
He also teaches at Osgoode Law with focus on ID Verification & Professionalism Issues in the Metaverse. As the immediate past chair of the Outreach Expert Committee of the Digital Identity and Authentication Council of Canada (DIACC), he has led a charge in focusing on user adoption and has contributed to writing “The Ethical Use of Biometrics” for the Digital Governance Council. With a background in financial services, investment banking, and game theory, Meyer's expertise led him to recognize the potential of digital credentials in combating fraud.
He holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Business and an Hons. BA in Economics from York University.
