Accounting Clerk
Primary Duties Include:
- Processing of clients’ accounts
- Match third party cheques to disbursements
- Performing bank reconciliations in both PC Law and Simply Accounting
- Cheque requisitions; signed and distributed; issuing cheques
- Work with AP/AR, billings and banking
- Post all deposits; issue refunds for overpayments, create invoices and post
- Pay and post disbursements in PC Law
- Issue bulk payments
- Other general administrative duties as required
Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of Accounting experience preferably in a law firm
- Post-secondary education in accounting
- Working knowledge of PC Law or Soluno would be an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail
- Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team oriented atmosphere
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary
