We are looking for an outstanding administrative professional with a passion for social justice to join our team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with lawyers and law clerks to prepare client accounts in a timely manner.
- Tracking, reviewing, and ensuring prompt payment of all firm expenses and client disbursements.
- Following-up on outstanding accounts, answering client inquiries regarding billing, and assisting clients with payment.
- Issuing cheques to clients, vendors, and staff as needed.
- Tracking and entering client payments.
- Providing administrative support as needed, including but not limited to printing, binding, scanning, sending documents by mail or courier, and scheduling internal events and meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of administrative experience, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize projects, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
- Client-service oriented, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and resourceful.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Experience with legal accounting and practice software is an asset.

Compensation
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience along with a comprehensive benefits plan including health, dental, and short- and long-term disability insurance.
The starting salary range for this position is $47,500-$62,500, depending on experience. Staff also receive annual salary increases and bonuses.
Our office is located close to several transit hubs, including GO Transit, the TTC, and Bike Share.
