2006 Compensation and Benefits Survey

In 2005, 59 firms provided data on a number of positions within the following job families:
· Finance/Accounting
· Human Resources
· Information Systems/Technology Services
· Law Clerks
· Marketing
· Records & Information Management
· Secretarial
· Specialized Services
Features of the 2006 survey:
· New Expanded Job Listing –.A comprehensive review of the 2005 job listing has resulted in adding positions in a variety of job families, including: Specialized Services and Finance. We have also revisited the management and administrative positions to allow for more effective differentiation between firms of varying sizes.
· Aon Survey Network – As was done last year, the Aon Survey Network offers you the convenience of on-line registration, a customized home page and easy downloads of your data submission templates.
· Cash Compensation – The cash compensation report provides your firm a customized perspective of the market. Data elements include job rate, base salary, target incentive, actual incentive/bonus received, and actual total cash.
· Bi-annual Benefits and Pay Practices Questionnaire – While we are not scheduled to collect data on Benefits and Pay Practices this year, we will republish the information collected during 2005 including Health & Dental, Benefits Communication and Incentive and Recognition Programs.
· Ancillary Compensation/Benefits Survey for Associates – The complete ancillary compensation/benefits survey is returning for 2006. This report is optional and contains both compensation and benefits data on articling students, summer law students and associates.
