Our Speaker,
David M. Orthner is the Practice Leader for the Legal Vertical at TANDBERG. Drawing upon his 17 years of senior IT leadership in law firms, David works side-by-side with account teams to deepen and broaden relationships, specifically at the CIO level. Within the legal community, David provides CIO’s with current industry information regarding the usage and adoption of video conferencing throughout the practice of law.
Prior to joining TANDBERG David was the Chief Information Officer at the international law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP where he was responsible for the Firm's Global Technology Strategy. Prior to Gibson Dunn, David was the Global Technology Director for Orrick based out of their Global Operations Center in Wheeling, WV. David also spent time at Proskauer Rose and Fross Zelnick in New York City.
David is deeply experienced in global information technology for professional service firms, having previously worked in a variety of law firm management positions, as well as having served as a consultant and controller to the legal and real estate industries.
David has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from San Diego Christian College and received an Executive Certificate in Business Dynamics from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
