Bill 168 is an Act to amend the Occupational Health and Safety Act with respect to violence and harassment in the workplace. It represents a significant change in how both violence and harassment in the workplace are regulated in Ontario. This session will answer the following

Our Speaker
LISA CORRENTE is a Partner in the Labour Relations and Employment Law and Health Law Groups at Torkin Manes LLP.
As a member of the Labour Relations and Employment Law Group, Lisa acts extensively for clients in wrongful dismissal litigation, human rights proceedings, workplace safety and insurance matters, applications for certification by trade unions, collective bargaining and arbitrations, pay equity complaints and privacy issues. She also provides advice and assistance with employment agreements, workplace policies, severance packages and the resolution of workplace disputes.
Lisa's practice in the Health Law Group includes advising and representing health care facilities and health professionals in professional complaints and discipline proceedings, Ministry compliance matters, residential tenancy disputes and privacy issues.
Lisa regularly appears before courts, boards and various administrative tribunals. She often participates in seminars offered to clients, as well as professional associations including the Ontario Long-Term Care Association, Ontario Retirement Communities Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
In addition to practicing law, Lisa represents Torkin Manes LLP as a partner in the Family Legal Health Program, a free legal service for low-income families whose children receive treatment at The Hospital for
Sick Children.
