Karen Gordon, Principal
Squeaky Wheel Communications
There are a lot of people who call themselves communications experts. There is just one Karen Gordon. Karen is Toronto’s only independent communications consultant specializing in labour and legal public relations. Employers and law firms rely on her to advise them on their most difficult communications challenges: challenges like contract negotiations with emergency service workers, having to let a senior executive go, or a facility closure. Over the last ten years Karen has worked with employers in industries ranging from the municipal sector to sports, and from manufacturing to healthcare.
When Karen is not guiding her clients on their most crucial files, she is a regular speaker and commentator on communications and media relations. You can regularly hear her fencing with Bill Carroll on AM 640. Karen’s assessments and observations about business, labour, sports and popular culture manage to be blunt, funny and true all that the same time, and that is why clients call on her time and time again.
