Dr. Allister Webster

Psychologist

Dr. Allister Webster is a registered psychologist engaged in private practice in Nova Scotia. His foremost focus includes clinical triage, clinical/forensic treatment, and clinical/forensic assessment services. A considerable portion of his work has been the diagnosis and treatment of individuals presenting with personality disorders and/or posttraumatic stress. In addition, Dr. Webster has provided consultation and training services to agencies and organizations, instructed at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of Alberta and the University of New Brunswick, and provided expert witness testimony within the justice system.

Dr. Webster received his Ph. D. from the University of Alberta (2003) and completed his pre-doctoral internship in clinical/forensic psychology at the Edmonton Institution for Women, Correctional Service of Canada. His clinical/forensic experience has included working in correctional institutions in Alberta, Nova Scotia, and at the Correctional Service of Canada’s National Headquarters in Ottawa. In addition, Dr. Webster has extensive experience in hospital and educational settings providing treatment, assessment, and consultation services.
